Poem — I refuse to leave this paradise,
because I am no hunter of the sky.
If I go and be with the raptors,
no way, I’ll surely die. I refuse to leave this paradise,
because here, I am the best.
If I go outside, I’ll realize,
there’s always a prettier nest. But a glimpse of my eyes and you’ll see,
I am a prisoner, I cannot leave.
I’m just a proud little bird,
and no one ever handed me the key. I refuse to live in this paradise,
I am no hunter, but I deserve to fly.
It pains me that this pretty bird
never had the chance to try.
